Tazo Teabag Black Tea 'Awake'

Working my way through Tazo teas at Starbucks

Black Teas: Awake, Earl Grey, Chai

Green Teas: Zen, China Green Tips, Orange Blossom

Herbal Infusions: Calm, Refresh, Passion, Vanilla Rooibos

Tea Information:
Tea: Awake
Type: Black Tea
Packaging: Teabag
Company: Tazo
Purchase: Here
Description: A breakfast tea of character and depth, invigorating any time of day.

Blend of black teas from India, Sri Lanka and Kenya.

Tazo Awake can be enjoyed throughout the day although it is often consumed as a breakfast tea. The complex and bold character allow it to stand up to milk nicely although unlike many breakfast teas it can be enjoyed on its own merits by itself. Tazo Awake has a dark red liquor, robust presence and malty flavor that ends with a brisk and clean finish.

While India, Sri Lanka and Kenya are the only origin countries contributing to this blend, several regions within the three countries have roles to play. In fact, Awake often contains tea from as many as 10 distinct tea gardens in the three countries.
